On Saturday 26th April 15 pupils went to Horse Guards parade to participate in the TCS Mini Marathon. We all met at Sevenoaks Station before getting the 09:47 to London Charing Cross. After some directing from Henry we arrived at Pen 3 ready for our wave (18) to set off at 11:07. The pupils were set off on the 2.6km course with roughly 80 other pupils from our wave. Everyone crossed the finish line (same one as the official marathon use) in one piece, some a little sweaty and some complaining their legs were hurting! All the pupils should be extremely proud of themselves for running on behalf of St John’s and should wear their medals with pride.
