On Saturday 23rd March the netball team competed in the annual Sevenoaks Netball Tournament at Knole Academy. We were drawn in the green draw which meant we played Halstead, Lady Boswell's, Sevenoaks, St Katherine's and Churchill. We had a lovely match against Halstead going on to win 4-0. Then came a trickier match against Lady Boswell's. We were drawing 0-0 at half time but after some lovely goals from Rachel and Seb we went on to win 2-0. Next, we came up against Sevenoaks and won 8-0 Before playing Churchill, a few of us had some nerves about how unfriendly they can be however we didn't let this distract us and went on to win 4-0.Finally, our last group game came against St Katherine's where we let in our first goals! We did however go on to win 9-2. 

This meant we were the overall winners of the green group and progressed into the final, meaning we were going to be playing the winners of the blue group! We were then told our final would be against Amherst. After some very tight play at half time we were 2-1 down. Another tight 5 minutes of play meant the match finished 2-1. This made us the runner's up of the tournament. 

The whole team played amazingly and should be very proud of themselves.
