It’s lovely to be enjoying such glorious weather …not a jumper in sight at playtime and Year 6 cooking food over an pen fire in the forest today!
Please remember to protect your child ensuring that they have sun cream on and a sun hat every day as we play outside for an hour in the middle of the day. Sun hats and caps are available from the school office at £4 each. These must be clearly named.
Let’s hope the weather holds for our Sports Day next week, a little cooler would be good! Go at drop off to the filed and enjoy a ‘proper coffee’ from Bojangles and then sit back and enjoy the races and picnic together. We hope to welcome many of our new Reception class for September to this event.
The summer fair on Saturday 1st July promises to be quiet an event. I am so pleased that each class, guided by their reps, are managing their own stalls. For all the details of the day, check out the posters up around school. Be sure to remember to send your child to school in their own clothes on Friday 30th, with their donation of a tombola prize.
Every child in the school has an important role in our summer productions, either The Minibeast Talent Show for KS1 or Noah for KS2. Classes are busy rehearsing their parts to ensure that theses shows are the usual highlight of our school year.
There’s never a quiet moment in primary school and this is never more true than in the summer term!
