Welcome to Year 2

Our Year 2 team : Mrs Brender (Mon - Tues) Mrs Higgs (Wed - Fri) supported by Ms Bennett (Mon to Fri). 

Welcome to Year 2 or should we say welcome to the Hedgehog Heroes! As your child continues through this year, there will be a continued focus on phonics and developing their skills further in writing and maths – exploring new ideas, developing their writing stamina and ensuring that they have opportunities to work with more independence. 

A yearly curriculum overview will be available below which includes all the topics we will explore this year. More detailed termly overviews will be uploaded as the year progresses.
