Billy, Etive and Thea (year 5) represented St John’s at the Sevenoaks School Debating Competition and Masterclass. Having developed their skills through debating sessions in school, they then took part in a masterclass before competing against other teams. They made an awesome team, listening carefully, building on each other’s ideas and speaking with confidence and clarity. We were delighted that they went on to win their debate on about their animal. They had to give it a magic power and debate that their creature was the best. Congratulations, Billy, Etive and Thea — St John’s is very proud of you!
