Year 2 were the proud winners of the 'name the food waste truck' competition run by Sevenoaks council. They entered Olivia's suggestion of Trashasaurus Rex and were awarded with a certificate by Cabinet Member for Cleaner and Greener, Cllr Irene Roy. Cllr Irene Roy explained how important it is to recycle our food waste at home. The children told her all about our food waste recycling at school - we could tell she was impressed! Their photo will feature in the next edition of Sevenoaks Council's In Shape magazine - check it out in your copy when it is delivered to your door!
