Year 4 Owl Class
Welcome to Owl Class!
Our Year 4 team : Miss Forsey supported by Mrs Webb (Mon-Tues), Mrs Hoemke (Weds–Fri) and Mrs Hollman (every morning).
In Year 4, we consolidate and build upon the children's knowledge and skills learnt in Year 3. Our goal is to support the children in acquiring greater independence and resilience, take increased responsibility and develop self-motivation over the year, as we prepare them for Upper Key Stage 2.
Each term, a new curriculum map will become available to inform you about what we will be learning. Further down the page, you'll find the yearly overview of the spellings we are using as well as some useful websites that you can use to support your child's learning at home or for them to extend their knowledge further through independent study.
The Year 4 Team look forward to working with you to ensure that your child has a happy and successful year.

Welcome to Year 4!
Our Term 1 curriculum map is below. This term we are writing a narrative in English and working on Place Value and our times tables skills in Maths.
Across our topics we will learn about Rivers (with a trip - information coming soon), States of Matter and we will investigate what Christians learn from the Creation Story!
Our PE days will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
