Wednesday 1st February
Water Polo
On Wednesday 1st February we went to Sevenoaks School to compete in the Sevenoaks Water Polo tournament. We played 6 matches in either the shallow end or deep end of the pool. Our first game was against Amherst where we drew 2-2. After the first match we started to realise that the best place to score the goal was in the top corners and that we could swim when we had the ball! All of our new-found tactics paid off when we played St Katherine’s winning 4-0. Then we played Chevening 2s and lost a well-balanced match 2-1. Against Shoreham we were 6-1 winners and Kemsing 4-1 winners. The crunch match came when we had to play Chevening 1s who had not lost any of their matches and it was end to end to say the least, finishing in a 4-4 draw.
Everyone played brilliantly and we came 3rd overall.
